A Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
Research Transcriptions proudly supports those who serve to protect, treat and teach us, including US military, first responders and educators.
A major part of our mission is to help disabled veterans and their spouses learn the skills of a professional transcriptionist. Interested applicants should click below.
Purpose that goes beyond business
Since 2003, our opportunities to support the US military have meant more than the business itself. We work closely with The Department of Veterans Affairs (“The VA”) and other organizations in their support of US veterans and active duty military.
Some of this work includes:
✓ Studies on homelessness among US veterans
✓ Mental health and managing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
✓ Active duty training methods
✓ Historical memoirs of WWII veterans
✓ Army, Air Force defense initiatives
✓ Historical memoirs of WWII veterans
✓ Work with the military academies (such as The Academy at West Point, The Citadel, The Naval Academy)
I proudly served in the U.S. Army at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii from 1993 – 1997.
During my service time, I experienced injuries that led to my honorable discharge as a Service Disabled Veteran. In the immediate years thereafter, I worked for Pfizer, Inc. while seeking further medical opinion and treatment.
In 2003, my military training and experience in the healthcare industry inspired me to launch Same Day Transcriptions, Inc.
In September, 2022, with the company’s growing focus in the field of qualitative research, we relaunched the company as Research Transcriptions.
There is no greater sense of professional purpose than receiving a call to support the work of people in organizations whose mission is to support our veterans. If you’re looking for a partner for an important project, let’s talk.
We are equally strong supporters of first responders, whom we honor with the same courtesy discounts as do we all military – active duty and retired.
Research Transcriptions donates a percentage of all transcription fees to organizations that we trust.
Please join us in supporting the men and women who serve to protect us.
